Shamina Isaac is a professional singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from the Bay Area. She began writing original songs at the age of 9, instrumental compositions by age 15, and has released several albums over the last 8 years. She has served as the Worship Director of her church for the past 12 years and has recently transitioned to freelance musical projects. In the last few years, Shamina has worked with Grammy nominated producers, as well as had one of her own songs on the Grammy consideration ballot. Her latest single surpassed 1 million streams and she is working toward releasing new music in 2023. A champion of Assyrian art, Shamina has participated in many Assyrian arts and musical events since childhood and takes great pride in singing in her native language. This is her first year participating in the incredible Assyrian Women ensemble and looks forward to many more years together.
