Samiramis Sayad Johnson

Samiramis is grateful to have been part of the inaugural Assyrian Women choir in 2018 and is excited to be returning to sing with these beautiful women again this year.  She took a year off singing with the choir to undertake her most important endeavor yet: becoming mother to a beautiful baby girl.  Samiramis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in New Media from Centenary College of Louisiana.  She has been singing her entire life in choirs and musical theatre.  Some of her fondest choral memories include the experiences singing with the Centenary College Choir and Centenary Camerata.  Through them, she has had the opportunity to sing mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, as well as at Christ the Redeemer Cathedral in Rio de Janeiro during a tour of Brazil and Argentina.  Samiramis has performed as a recitalist in New York City; Shreveport, LA; and San Jose, CA.  She has appeared in film and television productions with Apostolic Productions and Louisiana Motion Pictures.
