2017-2018 AAI Events

1. Install and unveil the “Shlama” public monument in the city of Los Altos, California.
2. Perform Assyrian folkloric dances at UNESCO in Greece in 2017 and in France in March of 2018.
3. Create two art galleries at Assyrian National Convention 2017 and 2018, which allowed us to exhibit and sell the artwork of Assyrian artists.
4. Raise public awareness by sponsoring a photo exhibition entitled: “Khabour in a Thousand Words” in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and soon in Canada.
5. Professionally exhibit and curate Nahrin Malki’s painting collection on August 26th, 2018, about the strength and attributes of Assyrian Women.
6. Display and exhibit for public viewing ‘Assyrian Christmas Nativity’ during Christmas 2018; plus, offer hand painted Assyrian Christmas ornaments created by Assyrian artists during Christmas Extravaganza 2017 and 2018.
7. Assemble a professional Assyrian Female vocal ensemble, Assyrian Women, debut scheduled for Dec 1st, 2018.
